Senior E & P AdvisorTraian Rabagia has more than fifteen years of worldwide petroleum exploration and production industry experience as a geologist. Mr. Rabagia holds Master of Science degree in Basin Analysis and a 5 year Diploma in Engineering (in Petroleum Geology), both from the Bucharest University, Romania.
In addition to leading MNP’s Exploration & Reservoir team, Mr. Rabagia also heads Danubian Energy Consulting SRL, in Romania. Mr. Rabagia has headed Business Development departments for Amromco Energy LLC – Eastern Europe (2004 – 2006) and the South-Eastern Europe office of Schlumberger (2002 -2004), respectively. Earlier Mr. Rabagia had joined Schlumberger in 1999 and had also worked as a geology instructor at the Bucharest University, Romania (1998-2000). Mr. Rabagia has high expertise and familiarity with Eastern Europe petroleum business (exploration, production, and services). He has also coordinated deployment of integrated projects in various Eastern Europe petroleum exploration and production companies: OMV Petrom, Romgaz, Atlas GIP-Romania, Ascom Moldavia, Naftagas Serbia, Bulgargas, Oil & Gas Pleven – Bulgaria and MOL Hungary. He has strong technical skills developed during years of field geological work, exploration projects and seismic interpretation.
