Manas Announces Results of Annual and Special Meeting of Stockholders

Manas Petroleum Corp. ("Manas") (TSX-V: MNP; OTCBB: MNAP) is pleased to announce that it has issued to Dr. Werner Ladwein, a member of its Board of Directors, 2,000,000 shares of its common stock. This share issuance was approved by its shareholders at the Annual and Special Meeting of Stockholders held on September 22, 2011.
